What are they like in the rain?
We have not had enough rain to talk about this. I was in rain for two minutes the other day ... no big deal. Well, to me , no big deal. To the HD rider that slid out in the corner I guess it was a big deal.

Whatever that tells you.

With "weather" possible in the coming months I will probably switch back to the 020.

Re: Shinko rear - 5,000 miles later - 10k Update !

I have now 9 weeks and 10,000 miles on my 021 front and Shinko rear and this weekend I pushed the ST into some turns on the mountain that were tight and awkward. The Shinko held it's ground very well.

I was hoping to get a picture of the 1/4" chicken strips I had filet'd but the rain washed the tires. But, the rain also produced mud and wet pine needles in the road which had no effect on the Shinko.

All around a good tire and I will be putting on another here in a couple weeks as I cross the 12k line on this set up.

At 1,000 miles a week tires are a budgetary concern for me and the $73 tire is worth the price without any doubt.

You may give that tire a consideration after all.
