I am replacing the coolant lines under the carbs and I have seen some pictures of what the tired old O-Rings look like - but I was really surprised!

I tried digging out the old O-Ring but wasn't getting anywhere. Finally I broke out my propane torch and gently heated the area and they came right out - they were quite brittle. If your even thinking about replacing these - DO IT!

I dont know exactly how they come from the factory but the replacement O-rings are rubber.

I couldnt believe it either when I took the elbows off of my ST11 last spring but the O-rings in John's pictures are exactly what the O-rings on my bike looked like also.
