Been awhile since I checked or posted on the Scorpion battery life documentary.....Just had one crap out that was installed in Spring 2014. The one prior to that ran from 2010 - 2014.

So, it seems that "3 seasons" (as we are in Michigan here) is about all one can expect from the Scorpion battery.....

Now we look for a replacement.....
I highly recommend this one. Starts my ST1300 like no other battery ever has, been in there two years, no issues:

Just be aware that lithium batteries have about 1/3 the discharge capacity as their lead acid counterparts, and parasitic drain will discharge them three times quicker.

Read every message in this thread, if I got 3 years for 59.99 including shipping, I'll give it a shot.

I'm taking the guinea pig dive on this. I thought it was following suit with the battery that started this thread, so I will give updates to this 59.00 agm battery. If it lets me down, I tried. Don't we all.

Though I haven't ridden the 1300 much recently, having kept the battery on a float charge started my bike about 2 weeks ago, still going.

I can tell in 75° or 80° temperatures it is starting to crank like when it's cold so it likely will not get through December this year.
A lot of people would say that is a pretty good go for $60, 4 years.
I am now entertaining a 225 cranking amp lifepo4 battery. The challenge will be warming it up properly when it's cold as I will ride in as low as the teens if the roads are clear. I'll have to figure out how many seconds per temperature reading will work.
I'll post the link in this thread but will likely have to find another battery specific thread to mention the new one.
