Hi,

Does anyone have a part number, or a bike model, for the ribbed BMW grips like many here have used? I can find the # for the heated upgrade kit but it is about $280 and I really am just wanting the NON-HEATED ones.

Thanks, David

I bought a set from a member, but I haven't figured out how to install them yet.
Take the old Honda ones off, (cut off, or used compressed air) clean off the bar, spray with hair spray on the bar and inside the grip and slip them on real quick. Let dry and you are good to go!

You can use any grip glue, but the hair spray works great. 6+ years on mine, and not a slip.

+1 compressed air works like magic if you slit an peel them go easy on the throttle tube side.

I just used alcohol to wet the bmw grip and bar and slid em on over the symtech c. $40 heated elements.

Count me as another fan of the Beemer grips. Most comfortable that I've found, that's for sure.

+1 on the air compressor . Installed the Beemer grips on the stock throttle tube and then removed and put on a G2, with a throttlemeister. I haven't used hairspray or glue, just the compressed air and no slippage issues. Major improvement over stock. :slv13:
