15w50 full synthetic oil

Yes, another oil question. Did not find any Thread about 15w50 oil.

Previous owner put a very good brand 15w50 full synthetic oil in my st1300.
Just a week before i bought it.
It sounds very good, drives good, but this oil is a little bit thicker than the w40.

Now i drive with passenger and trailer thru Germany.
That demands more from the engine.

What do you think about this?
Should I change the oil or not?

I have used 15w50 without any problems.

Ive used it on prolonged trips in the heat, otherwise temps below 80 degrees f. Stick with 10-40 full symthetic
