These parts were removed from a low mile...less than 500 miles and less than two months after dealer purchase. Reason was that the ST was to be converted to a trike...or a side car affair. Wheels, complete front end, brakes included were removed.
Will get pics posted when my cell decides to co operate re file transfer.
The calipers and the SMC with some hoses attached...were flushed with fresh brake fluid and vacuum packed same day.
All parts appear as new. I removed a caliper piston recently....perfect and look as if just removed from a HONDA labeled bag.
Brake parts are complete...EXCEPT NO PADS. Pins and anti rattle hardware etc...all there and hoses...flex and the steel lines that connect just above fender...all there and perfect.
Complete package $350.00 delivered lower 48.
Some background re brake parts and vacuum packaging experience: I owned and operated a successful brake shop in North Vancouver for 14 years...1972 to 1986.
Would buy popular calipers..(a couple of local wrecking yards sold the stuff to me essentially by the pound) certain M Cyls too, OEM rotors....especially the m cyls from rare 65 66 Mustangs with 4 piston front calipers, Early Corvette calipers and M cyls....pre dual master (67) stuff. Early Budd 4 piston calipers from full size Chryslers etc. We disassembled the calipers and masters, inspected, re kitted as necessary) Rare parts then...hens teeth now.
My brother has owned a 65 Corvette since 1976...... two years ago he installed a set of calipers that I had saved for him....way back in 1980 or so. Vacuum packed..... Opened em up....to have a look.....the cylinder bores in those calipers is the seal surface...not the piston. Bottom line...all was as new.
