We will be in Montreal till Jan 2, so maybe on the way home we can spend a night near the International Centre.

Why it's always in the winter when it's a little chance of riding to it?
Because it's winter and everybody wants to ride- Vendors are hoping for impulse buying. Plus, if it was held during the riding season nobody would show up.

In the past, I went to a couple of the manufacturer's shows downtown TO, and there were plenty of bikes there. A group of us rode there one year... now this is maybe 10 years ago....

Motorcycle withdrawal symptoms temporarily relieved with a few hours looking and smelling motorcycles and the other unrelated vendors that show up. Besides after the holiday family and foodfest you have to get out.

The way I see it, I'd rather take a ride to it in the summer. Just MO

There are plenty of those in the summer to choose from. But the winter is the time of withdrawals and a fix is needed. There are some hardy riders that will venture the salty roads on bikes, but that is usually one of the coldest times of the year. From your signature you are in NJ, that is almost tropical

Rick Buchanan and I will be at the Motorcycle Supershow on Friday January 3 about 12:30. Rick’s my brother-in-law and rides a 2016 FJR and lives on the Severn River above the Big Chute lock. Is anyone else there Friday afternoon? My cell is 519-331-0621 if you want to connect.

I was considering going to the January show but the admission price of $27.91 (including tax) kind of threw me. The last time I was at this show it took us about an hour to walk around and see everything. BTW, this is the only venue I would even consider attending as I have sworn to never travel into the downtown area of Toronto again. Driving through Brampton to get to the International Centre is bad enough, but to continue on into the belly of the beast that is downtown TO gridlock, no thanks.

Woke up in Napanee this morning, we stopped in Kingston for a late lunch and then the 401 was closed near the Napanee OnRoute site. Weather was poor so we checked in a hotel. Last night the weather improved and today seems fine. I think we will probably just head for home.
