The best feature of this CRASH suit is how quickly one can slip into and out of it...10 seconds!

TEN SECONDS can:
1. extend your riding day
2. extend your riding season
3. extend/protect your life!

This suit is 'cheap insurance' compared to the cost of X-Rays, MRI's and missing time from work.
As reflected in the images, this suit is in good condition. All zippers and buckles function properly.
The armor is aging and may need replaced soon. A complete set of shoulder, elbow and knee armor is currently on sale for only $70. Although this suit was recently washed by hand, some areas remain discolored.

Aerostich's Details and URL's:

Thirty years on this fully lined Roadcrafter has been worn in every type of weather to nearly every place you can get to on a motorcycle. It is the original suit for everyday, all-distance commuting and touring.

Its luxurious full lining slips easily over your street clothes, and the outer shell is tailored to minimize wind flutter and drag at higher speeds.

More than three decades of experience have proven the Roadcrafter Classic's superior impact and abrasion-protection, and it's all-weather capabilities. The suit is literally covered with innovations for riders: 3M high-visibility Scotchlite™ reflective, nine strategically placed everyday-useful external pockets, six standard oversize TF impact armor pads, provisions for optional removable arm and thigh map pockets, optional hip armor and impact protection spine armor, effective water resistant zippered underarm and back vents, flapped hip-side zippers for access to your street pants, an all-day comfortable Ultrasuede collar, and a variety of adjustable tabs and zippers that allow you to custom fine-tune the fit.

Each one piece Roadcrafter Classic is about attention to each detail, real-world riding needs and meticulous craftsmanship. It's constructed of mil-spec 500 Denier TLTex® outer fabric, ballistic nylon and a high pic Supernyl lining fabric.

Compared to traditional leather gear you'll ride warmer when it's cool, drier when it's wet and cooler when it's hot.

TEN SECONDS OR LESS

Get your stopwatch. The Roadcrafter’s exclusive zipper configuration requires less of your effort and almost none of your time. Unlike conventional suits, you can shed a Roadcrafter one or two piece suit in under ten seconds . Just ten seconds and you’ll be wearing nothing but your street clothes. Aerostich Roadcrafter suits are designed to be worn over them, without the hassle of changing clothes to match weather and riding conditions. And a Roadcrafter is just as fast to get into, so you can get out of town. Zip yourself into a Roadcrafter, and ten seconds later you’ll wonder why anyone would want to wear conventional riding gear.

TLTEX™ FABRIC TECHNOLOGY
The TLTex™ fabric membrane contains 9 billion microscopic pores per square inch, each one 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. So while perspiration can get out, it's tough for outside wetness and wind to get in. It wears cooler than leathers in the heat, warmer than leathers in the cold, and drier under all conditions. All seams are hot-tape sealed.

A SUITCASE YOU CAN WEAR
There’s no such thing as too many pockets, and it’s a good thing, because our one-piece suit has ten of them. The Roadcrafter is fully lined with free-floating nylon taffeta so it slides on right over your clothes. There's one inner pocket with Velcro closure for valuables and nine exterior pockets. Velcro closure tabs at the waist, wrists, and ankles allow a precise fit and minimize wind leaks. The gusseted wrist zippers, underarm vent zippers, and two-way back vent zipper provide good ventilation in all temperatures. Roadcrafter suits are exceptionally comfortable from 50º to 90º when worn over everyday clothes.

LIGHTWEIGHT AND STRONG

Aerostich suits weigh less than leathers, so you can easily wear them over your street clothes, and they’re as tough as they are light. All seams are double-stitched using heavy #69 bonded nylon thread. The seat has a double layer of fabric, and the shoulders, elbows, forearms, knees, and shins are protected with a layer of 1050 denier, urethane-coated ballistics nylon.

Larry: Good evening and thank you for informing me of the discrepancy. I have corrected the original post to reflect $375.

Dang, that is such a good deal I'd be willing to put on some weight! Anyone with a 6'1" 180 lb version is welcome to dm me lol.

Great concept, these suits are great touring gear. If you intend to go on track racing, choose leather. For everyday use, or multi-day touring, can't beat a Roadcrafter. I like mine!
This particular one is big enough to house a big dutchman!

Dean: Hello. This RC suit is a little short in the torso for me since I am 6'4" with shorter legs. I have several suits of varying styles and condition. I feel the one piece is the best for frequent riders. Happy holidays! If you are around 6'2-6'3", let me know, I can forward it to you to try it on. Happy holidays!

Frank/ST-Venture:

Hello. Thank you for your interest in the RC suit. I checked the front pocket for a build date. It either faded or was washed out. Therefore, I have no knowledge of the build date. If you are around 6'2"-6'3", 200lb and wear 34"-36" x 34" pants, this suit should fit you well.
I suggest sizing the suit with a thin jacket or windbreaker to extend the use during cooler or colder seasons.

Please note comments from the original post reflect:
* Armor is include but is aged and should be replaced. ($70/set for shoulder, elbow & knee armor)
* Suit has been washed thoroughly, but a few areas remain discolored.
* All zippers and snaps work fine.

Please reference the images carefully. It is not a perfect suit in appearance.
However, I am offering it for a fraction of the new price and hopefully, it will help someone avoid expensive MRI's, X-rays & time away from work.
I suggest adding an integrated Aerostich back pad and hip pads for better protection as well.

I have been a fan of these suits since the late 90's and would keep this as a spare if the torso was longer.

Frank: I noticed in your avatar image your are already familiar with these suits. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Please keep in mind shipping costs have increased significantly. My free shipping offer is probably a $40-$50 value. Therefore the suit is being offered for $300.

Happy Holidays!

(Btw, nice Goldwing. I was browsing the Goldwing Owners Forum last night. There are MANY ST1100/ST1300 owners on the site sharing their experiences & comparisons. The positive comments about the Goldwing's performance & handling are impressive. The 2021-2022 red & black 1800 Goldwing is a BEAUTY!) (Btw, are you aware of any affordable motorcycle-centric storage facilities in CO that cater to the motorcyclist who wishes to fly and ride CO? I am aware of some businesses in Germany that supports such motorcyclists. If my ST1100 does not sell, it may be nice to have one or two stored throughout the US. Thanks in advance!)

Frank: Hello again. Please disregard my previous inquiry about storage. Google provided the answer for me....

"
Several Colorado-based companies offer fly-and-ride motorcycle storage and related services, catering to riders planning adventure trips. Colorado Motorcycle Adventures in Denver provides year-round motorcycle storage, maintenance, receiving, and shipping with no contract required, along with a full-service customer lounge and access to certified technicians for BMW, KTM, Husqvarna, Triumph, Ducati, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Race Tech. They also offer a convenient option for fly-and-ride experiences, making it easy to ship your bike to the start of a route or rent a ready-to-ride ADV motorcycle.

Rogue Moto, located in Grand Junction, Colorado, is a year-round partner for fly-and-ride adventures in the American Southwest, offering premium motorcycle storage and concierge services near Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT). Their storage is ideal for riders accessing the Backcountry Discovery Routes (BDRs) in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico. They provide storage at $199 per month with no contract, and all shipments and deliveries occur between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

For riders seeking a secure, climate-controlled environment, COMOSTO in Golden, Colorado, offers private, 50-square-foot parking spots with storage lockers for gear, 24/7 access, monitored alarm systems, live camera feeds, and 120-volt outlets for battery tenders. This facility is designed for exclusive, secure storage with a focus on convenience and safety.

Additionally, Edge of Adventure Tours in Flagstaff, Arizona—though outside Colorado—serves as a fly-and-ride hub near the Arizona BDR and offers fully-equipped BMW GS and KTM adventure motorcycle rentals, along with offroad-ready luggage and helmet rentals, making it a convenient option for riders flying into nearby Flagstaff."

@Splash
My question was merely a curiosity on the age of your suit. Your price is reasonable. Your suit is too tall for me (only 5' 10").
As you can see from my avatar, I already have a Aerostich one piece suit, an R3 lite which I won at a MSTA rally 3 or 4 years ago.
I am on the GL1800riders forum as CO-GLrider

I have decided to gift this suit to a family member who farms and can utilize the suit as overalls around the farm during colder seasons. Thanks for looking happy holidays!
