I am becoming a DIY with my 91 ST1100. I currently need to gain access to my alternator, but not sure the best way to do it. I have a service manual, but with 20 years in Logistics career field, it looks totally greek to me. Does anyone know of a good video that might show step by step how to get to it? I have searched the web, but with no luck.

There are a number of step by step write up's here, though not sure exactly where. Check the Mike Martin website. Only video I've seen is of a couple methods of maneuvering the alternator in or out of position, as it is a tight fit. I'll be pulling one out for the first time shortly.
