AM radio ignition noise?

Anyone have a Jensen JHD910(or any other radio) on their ST1100? Curious how much ignition noise is present on AM?

as far as my experience, I was never able to eliminate noise on AM had an a couple of different filters. FM perfect but not Am

Just checked mine last night. Works great on FM, not so good on AM. Perhaps a ferrite clamp would help. I know from use on my PC800 that LED headlight bulbs make it worse for most, and the ferrite clamp won’t help with that.

The noise is coming from the spark-plug wires, almost impossible to silence. AM is particularly susceptible to it.

You can hear lightning from many miles away by tuning to a quiet frequency at the lower end of the band.
