These BAT prices are nuts! It’s almost like the cars and bikes there are purely investments. So if you win an auction, does it make sense to ride or drive the vehicles or just make them museum pieces in the hope they’ll be worth more in the future?

Should I retire my STs to the garage and keep them at low(er) mileage so they’ll be worth a lot when I’m 100?

What’s the point of having a nice car or bike if you never use it? (Again, from Ferris Bueller…’He never drives it, he just rubs it with a diaper…’)
 
You should only ride home in rain... that way it knows it's not a creampuff anymore! :cool:

In the original listing and pictures there is a crack in the fairing where the left mirror mounts. It was also mentioned in the description so the seller wasn't trying to hide anything. I can only imagine what one would bring with an intact fairing.
