I am not the seller nor do I know them. Just ran across the ad and thought someone here might be in need of something to do this winter. $2800 asking price.

I like it and it’ll likely clean up well…but what is it hiding? Rusty tank and fuel pump, seized calipers? I like a bike that has been consistently running.

That's a $1,000 bike at best. You can buy clean, good running ST's for that asking price.

Boy am I glad I don't live near there, I would hate to have someone bring me that to get it running again, because I know all the things that I'd find wrong with it

I'm not the seller and do know the seller and have never seen the bike but this seems a better deal.
