The Mrs and I got new helmets about 6 weeks ago. I've finally gotten the chance to use mine a couple times. So far so good. I wear glasses and the only flaw I find right now is the fitment of glasses into the helmet. There is a gap between two sections of padding that lines up with where the bows of my glasses go back to my ears. I THINK this was intentional by Bell, but it does take some futzing around to get the glasses to rest right. The best feature I have found is the optional "Transition" shield that is offered. Yup, finally a shield that changes tint to adjust to the brightness of the sun, just like Transition glasses do. Very nice! The helmet is comfy and quiet and was reasonably priced. :D

I have an RS-1 and the Transition shield and it's a very nice feature.

The helmet itself is one of the most comfortable I've ever owned.

I have a Shoei RF1200 and I am waiting for them to release a transition lens for it. It is supposed to happen, I just don't know when. Watching and waiting.

I love mine too, I do wish it got a little darker. Not a deal breaker by any means. RS-1 here also.

An acquaintance has a Star with the Transitions shield and I was impressed at how quickly it darkened. Well quickly may be a bit generous but it was faster than I experienced way back when. The Photo Sun and first Transitions lenses were slooooow although the Photo Sun was the slowest.

I'd be tempted to get one for the MultiTech though for sheer cool factor the Neo's fighter pilot visor is hard to beat. And it's fairly dark.

Quite a few helmets have the internal sunshade 'pilot visor'. HJC, Nolan, Schuberth...
Find a helmet that fit's first, gadgets second.

But I do love my built in shade, on really bright days combined with the mirrored face-shield it's just right.

I did both. The built-in shade is only a gadget if it doesn't work. For me it's a tool as important as the helmet itself. Some people won't own a bike without cruise control. I won't own another helmet without without a sunshade. I must have a normal noggin. I don't have to find a helmet that fits just find the size.
