BMW high RPM valve video.

Hard to believe! I would think you'd need a spring out of a freight train suspension to get a valve to move that fast. I knew there was such a thing as rotators on valves but never considered that the spring would rotate too.

How can all this movement last for thousands of hours/miles. Should I start an oil thread? :D
 
Regarding the valve rotation, did you notice that the left valve was rotating counter-clockwise while the right appeared to be moving clockwise? :)
 
Did you notice the left valve spring rotating clockwise at the max rpm also?
I didn't realize they spun that much.
