I put on a new set of T-31s at the end of sept. and went to the VOID and NIITWIT rallies. Here are my thoughts:

The tires are competent and better than many brands I have experienced. I do not think they are as good as the Michelin PR4s in terms of ride, wet performance or stability. Not that they are bad in those categories, but they don't come up to my experience of the Michelins. With the PR4s I never even notice I have tires. I noticed the Bridgestones.

I suspect that the T31s are just a tad shorter than my PRs and the car tire I was running just prior to putting these tires on. The front end felt light and I could put more of my feet on the ground. This may account for the lowered stability I mentioned above. If I run T31s again I will adjust the shock and see what that does.

In cold weather the TPMS indicated a drop of 5 psi in the rear tire but much less in the front. I thought I had a leak, but did not. It came back up 5 psi when it warmed back up.

I have 6.405 miles on the tires at this point and they are done. The rear has 2/32 left and the front 3/32. My PR4s got 18K on the front and 10-12K on the rear. Riding style was consistent, although half of the T31 distance was on wet and cold roads, which should help them last longer.

Overall, not the performance I was hoping for. Even with the lower price tag I think the Michelins come out cheaper in the long run. Much cheaper and longer lasting yet is the car tire, a bridgestone drive guard run flat, which costs much less and runs twice as far.

I own neither the Michelin Corp or Bridgestone. YMMV
