I had posted this over at the Motocampers site, but decided to repeat it here.
Stopped at Gander Mountain in Florence, Alabama, yesterday and found an item that I had to bring home. It's a folding table with attached storage bins. It comes packed in a nice canvas carry bag, but may be a little large if you don't pull a trailer as it measures approximately 25x16x8 in the bag. Also, the compartments must be empty to be able to get it all in the carry bag. I plan to pack the table and legs separately from the compartment bins when I load the camper. I'm going to pack the bins with the usual "stuff" (clothes, flashlights, utensils, chargers) and then place the packed bins in the trailer as needed to balance the weight. Usually when we camp, we have several small bags of assorted sizes that are scattered around the camper. With this organizer, everything will be off the ground and in one place, plus the bins have a window for a contents label, so you don't have to open all of them just to find your socks. The tabletop is the usual aluminum folding top that is used on several camp tables, and appears to be sturdy enough for camp use. Normally, it sells for $79.99, but we got it during a sale for $49.99! I don't know if all stores have the price marked down, but it might be worth a phone call to check prices if you happen to have a store in your area. The only downside is the assembly. The nylon cloth is stiff (new) and the instructions are terrible. I'm glad I put it together in the living room instead of at a cold, wet campsite. I'm sure that the next time I put it together. it will go much smoother with less of the needed language to make things fit! Here is the link for the product, along with a couple of pics that I took after I got it put together.
I'll give a thorough review after we've camped with it.
