I wish I could have had this when I did my timing belt work- mine tore and is held together with electrical tape down the center.

should have used Gorilla Tape or Flex seal.

It might have been a different tape- in fact, I think it was a rubberized electrical tape, but it’s been so many years since I did it, I don’t recall- I had the bike torn down and was in a hurry to reassemble it. But…it’s been fine since. I’m not trying to imply that my bikes are held together with tape and wire ties!
