Good morning everyone

There's French roast in the pot for you, so come enjoy some as you wonder where the weekend went so quickly.

It's 63°F and cloudy in Rockville, with chances of rain above 60 percent beginning around 1400 hours and continuing until midnight. Rainy or not, we expect a high around 68.

My originally-planned goof outing with friends has been canceled due to the weather forecast, so I'll fall back and play Old Guy Golf with the regular Monday group instead.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

G'Day...

7°/11°C today, Since Saturday rain, rain... and: more rain... not a monsoon, but constant dripping...

took the car, dense traffic, folks confused by the precipitation, but they're also confused when the sun is up, when its getting cold, when its getting warm...
In short: they're always confused...

office, medium busy...

spent the w/e at my place (GF had the little rascal over), household chores, relaxing, binge watching...
GF arrived Sunday afternoon... collapsed on the couch quite exhausted... seems the little one kept her busy...
OTOH can she now ride her bicycle without training wheels, still have to work on that target fixation of hers though...
Whatever obstacle she sees, she hits... dead on...

Anyhoo... have a good start into the week!

Thanks for the French roast Keith, it is hitting the spot this morning.

Very, very grey this morning and only 53F, only a couple of F's short of the forecasted high of 55F. It has rained on and off most of the night and should continue doing the same until Wednesday.

The only thing planned is an early visit to the dentist to get the final crown glued on. Then, maybe some groceries, maybe not.

Keith, I must admit I thought of you and your goof buddies yesterday. I went to Maine to visit my 3 month old great niece and went by a goof course twice. Both times, in a steady rain, there were people walking around in shorts and goof shirts waving shiny sticks around. It made me wonder what was being served in the clubhouse!!

Be safe, be careful and stay dry!

Scott

Mornin’ y’all. Thanks for the coffee, Keith.

It’s another cool morning, at 45, under cloudy skies. High of 62. Yesterday stayed so cloudy that my automatic security light stayed on for most of the day. I’m hoping the drizzle holds off, long enough for me to mow.

@STinner Congrats on the new Wing.

John

Thx Keith!

Your claimed 689 degrees makes me wonder….nice people shouldn’t come to the other place…

We drove home from Oslo yesterday, after some very looong working days in my sons’ new bathroom.
Still not finished, so I’ll go back in two weeks.
Hope to ride my bike then.

Drive home took 7,5 hours, nice weather, nice scenery.
Got tired.

Today is relocating my boat from my temporary berth #13 to the permanent #5(forever mine, as long as I pay the the monthly fee of $30).

10˚c/50f, 30mph wind from north, it feels cold, sunny.

Have a good one!

good morning all. thanks Keith for the coffee. 52F on the dog walk with clouds and a few stars, but more clouds then stars. got kind of a late start as it was 0315 when I got out the door with dog # 1. still a nice walk to enjoy.
have gym class this morning and a stop at the emissions station to check the 99 Subaru. it all has to do with a check engine light and a miss fire code that has been a pain in the back side for the last 26 years we have owned her. its a really long story but we have made it this far with 281,xxx miles.
our high should only be 65F but the clouds should clear out after 0700. enjoy the day

stay safe

Arriba! Arriba! Ándale! Ándale! Ándale! Buenos días, amigos, y muchas gracias por el café, Keith!

Pardon my absence yesterday, I had to rush out early to attend a farewell brunch, the final event of our 50th high school reunion. We had a fantastic weekend, it was truly wonderful to see everybody, and I am now thoroughly exhausted!

We had some sunshine earlier this morning, but the sky has now clouded over and will, in all likelihood, stay that way. The current temp of 9°C/48°F will eventually make its way up to 20°C/68°F, and the rain will come back tonight.

On that note, everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely. Have a taco and go easy on the Tequila. Or not.

Patty

Hola y'all! Wait...that sounds way too festive for a workday Monday. While technically I am able to imbibe today while I WFH, I'll keep that under reservation until I see how the day goes. But thanks for the delish FR, Keith!

65F/18C and gloomy with rain creeping up from the south. The wknd went quick but I did get to ride a bit on Saturday so that was nice. Some needed cleanup was done but always never enough. Plans continue to move my son out, down on Wed, back on Thurs. Need to run to the post office today, otherwise just work.

Take care y'all!

Good morning everyone

Rainy or not, we expect a high around 689.
Wow!
Isn’t that way too hot? :spank1:

Oh well!
Good morning all!
Not much to report on!
Cool, sunny & work to be done!
I expect my new 1” boring drill to arrive today to start my cribbing project.
Enjoy your day!
If you just happened to buy a new wing - - Congratulations!

Morning all! Sunny with some high cirrus cloud this morning. 11C now, high of 16C later.

Had a woman pull out in front of me at an intersection this morning on the ride in. I didn't have to panic stop but it was more than a leisurely one. I gave her a toot on the horn and to her credit she waved an apology. On further reflection, as I rode away, I realized that I needed to tagged myself with some of the responsibility; I had been speeding a bit which may have hampered her ability to gauge how much time she had. Still, good lesson to stay awake, be aware and monitor my own riding.

Had a great weekend, got some projects down, didn't finish some others. Picked up another lilac tree for planting as a screen against the neighbours on the other side. Even managed to get out for a ride on some twisty treelined sun dappled roads. Good for the soul....

Have a meeting to attend to so best get going. Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Keith & All from a dreary day in Southern Utah!

Currently it is overcast from this weekends storms. It look like we are now getting, what they call the "wrap around" from the storm. The temp is 47F, up from 41F and heading for 50F. We have gotten 0.44 inches of rain, which, I think, is the most we've gotten so far this year. A slight breeze now, but subject to change when the rain starts up again, at any moment...maybe!

At least I was able to mow and trim the lawn before the rain started on Saturday. Also, I got the :bl13: out of the tractor shed, before the ground got muddy. And that was the excitement, of my weekend.

Today, I'll do some wash and clean up the house a little. I really don't make that big of a mess when Chris is gone, so there really isn't that much to do.

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning with. Pepsi(s) on the menu at some point.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good morning, Sun with scattered high level clouds, 52 F /. 11 C high 65 F/ 18 C . Thanks Keith for coffee. No plans for today, need a haircut, might do that. Feeling a little stiff from yesterday's ride, was asked if Lady was a Goldwing, politely informed person that she is a St1100 Pan European, will forgive Morris first time he has seen one. Okay not much else to say, other than have a good day,G
