Coolant System Hose Identification

I used two 6 inch C-clamps to lift the throttle body...popped right up with very little pressure from the clamps. The attached photo was taken afterwards but still shows the basic position of the clamps. A couple of 1x4 boards would probably fit better than the 2x4 and pipe i used to brace the clamps.

I want to use t-bolt clamps but im worried on the smaller hoses whether they will fit on the stem without hitting the bulge on the pipe has anyone used them and do they fit?
When working under the throttle bodies i usually prop the tank right back lift the bodies using a block and Gclamp and then lift the bodies up and strap them against the tank but i think for a full hose change to get done in one day im going to have to remove the tank not sure if i will have to fully remove the bodies but i doubt i can let them hang off the side im just not sure how many connections i would have to remove to get them out. to lift them only its just throttle cables and a connector from what i remember.
I used your list to price the hoses in the uk £304 ouch then went partzilla and with import fees and delivery £250 then found webike with import fees and delivery £114 i also needed some other bits. head cover gaskets x2. right pocket lid. crash bar covers x2. total shipped with import fees £220 for everything would have been around £464 in the UK
 
My 2007 ST1300 has 121,000 miles on it. While replacing the engine sub-harness, I removed the throttle body. Once removed I saw quite a mess in the engine bay, mostly from antifreeze weeps/leaks and probably a little oil from the cylinder head covers. After getting that cleaned up, I decided to replace the coolant system hoses and clamps. I took a lot of photos during the teardown and numbered the hoses along with notes on where each went. I ordered OEM parts from Ron Ayers. It was a bit of a challenge to make sense of the water pipe diagram. I thought I'd post a couple of photos with the hoses numbered with the part numbers from the water pipe and radiator parts diagrams along with a sheet listing the OEM part numbers for the hoses and associated clamps. On the photos, RED numbers refer to the water pipe diagram, and GREEN numbers to the radiator diagram. It might help anyone else who may be replacing cooling system hoses.

Many thanks for this. I have an 09 ST1300 which stopped charging the battery. Taking everything very slow and careful I changed the alternator and am in the process of putting the bike back together.
I thought I could add some observations of my own concerning leakage from the coolant system that might be helpful.
Before refitting the throttle bodies, I filled the cooling system to make sure there were no obvious leaks, and of course there was! Almost immediately there were drips of coolant through the square weep hole. I hadn't disturbed the pump housing so it wasn't that, and looking down on the thermostat housing I could see a pool of coolant on the top of the crankcase, which suggested a bad hose connection. But where?
I looked and I looked and there was no visible evidence of where the coolant was coming from. All the hoses appeared to be correctly fitted with the clamps tight but not over tightened. I ran my finger under the connections and the thermostat housing and there was no wetness or evidence of where the coolant was coming from.
Looking at the schematics you posted I wondered if there was hoses going to the throttle bodies. It turns out that for some reason there is a coolant flow to the throttle bodies. I only know this because I had disconnected a hose to allow me to swing the throttle bodies out of the way and it turned out that was the hose where the coolant came out. Why there was a coolant pipe amongst various fuel pipes I have no idea, and I initially missed it because it is above the rubber mat.
I hope that someone reads this and avoids the rather alarming experience I had. I was ready to take the thermostat housing off again and feared dismantling the coolant pump was next. Thanks again.
