Cyleto brake pads experience

I've never heard of them, so a few minutes of Googling...
  • Founded in 2017
  • Their website seems "less than professional"...
    • Not secure
    • No info on where they are (China obviously)
    • No way to contact them
    • No listing of any brake pads
  • No reviews on Amazon
Way too many red flags for me. Let us know how they size up when/if you get them.

Let us know if you get tagged with ID theft after ordering them

I just found an amazon review...seems 4 or 5 folks all had the same issue....the picture showed 3 sets, but only one set arrived etc.
The ole bait with a picture, and send something cheap if you ask me.

Any results to pass on to the forum?
my order via amazon arrived as promised in less than 10 days from china, and was three sets. i will take a photo and post tomorrow once i track down my camera!
the pads look fine, except they are not very thick, so i would likely wear them half way then replace, so you would take two sets of these pads compared to one set of thicker ones.

Thanks for the update, glad you didn't get ripped off.
Question, I'm guessing by your avatar that you have an ST1300?
You say the pads are not very thick? The fitment for the ST1300's are the rear set is Thicker than the two front sets, and the rear set should also have a white heat shield between the backing plate and the cage. The factory pads also have different foot areas, the rear need to have a notch in them to fit in the caliper correctly.
Looking forward to seeing pictures.

The good news is i have three sets, other news is they are all the same .... lol Should keep my ST 1300 front end stopping...maybe!

Had this in my notes when I bought my current pads,

Rear pad thickness including the backing plate
EBC FA261 2HH rear is 11.5mm thick

Front pad including the backing plate
EBC FA261 HH at 8.3mm thick

Like Al Gully pointed out, rear are thicker, front are thinner. Yours are even notched on the forward attachment point, which means they are marketing a one size fits all, since only the rear pads need the notch. I would not use them on the rear of your bike, due to the thickness, lack of the heat shield, and dare I say quality
Since brake pads and stopping are kind of important on a motorcycle, I think I would pass on using knock off, made in china, so cheap they are nearly free pads, but that's just me :shrug2:

The other thing to consider re cheaply made pads is that, other than not performing well, they might chew up your rotors and this would be a pretty expensive repair. I stick to OEM.
