I mentioned in the Farkles/Luggage section that David Silver Spares now has a USA base in Hanover, Pennsylvania (https://www.davidsilverspares.com/), and OEM Top Boxes are available at less than $500 complete (backrest pad, mounting hardware, etc). I ordered a Candy Glory Red top box and received it in a week, although I live about 4 hours away.

Ordering is straightforward and I had no issues with ordering or receiving the top box. Everything is as-advertised.

They have a good bit of OEM and aftermarket stock for the ST1300. It's worth a look if you're in the market for a top box especially.

I don't WANT to look! If I do I may one day see an LED spoiler. If I do I may jump and grab it and the top box even though it might not fit on the great tail rack already on the bike. If I do I might have to remove said great tail rack to install it.

My choice is to live vicariously through those who've taken the plunge and post pics! But that is a great price...

They sold the in stock inventory out quickly, 6-8 weeks delivery. Mine will be Candy Glory Red also.

I cringe when I look at the site now too...every time I open it my credit card starts twitching in my wallet! I'm afraid the spoiler will show up sooner than later too...
