Lookie at what I found:
However, upon further investigation:
TIRESSPORTMAX
ROADSMART III
TRAILSMART
AMERICAN ELITE
ELITE 4
SPORTMAX Q3+
SPORTMAX Q4
D401
D402
D401T

So, looking at their recommendations for the ST1100, what do y'all think of Roadsmart III's?

I'm buying a set of RS 3's for my 1300. I can't see any reason they wouldn't be excellent on an 1100 as well.

I bought a set today from Bike Bandit. Total price after rebate was $233.21 shipped. That's a hell of a deal on the RS 3 which is an excellent dual compound tire.

So you're able to apply the rebate now, or are you saying what the cost will end up being?

Plus, any idea of comparison between these and the BT31GT?
That cost is after rebate. You pay full cost, apply for the rebate, and Dunlop sends you a $40 prepaid debit card.

I can't give you any feedback on comparison since I have never run either tire before. My research suggests the Dunlop's perform better then the PS4's (especially as they wear down) at substantially lower prices. The Bridgestone's were never a consideration for me. Mainly because I couldn't find the GT version in our front tire size. I was going to go with the Shinko Verge but their tread pattern wasn't to my liking and the Dunlop's are only about $20 more after rebate.

That's a deal that's hard to pass up.
Had mine mounted with Dyna beads & so far they seem to perform just fine. :thumb:
