I'm getting error codes on both my units. I'm running Primo 19. Sometimes the unit will freeze and I have to shut it down and reboot it. I have pressed the reset button but it doesn't seem to help. I haven't reset it to factory as I was hoping to avoid that.
Has anyone else encountered this and if so what have you done to rectify the situation.

I seem to get those every once in a while, maybe a few times a year. I don't have a solution, but a power off seems to sort it for me. They're rare enough for me that I haven't delved into it. I'm running the MC version from UP.

I'm running the same one. I've swapped the cards and put them in the other unit, they are starting up better, currently it's too cold and windy to try them out on the bike. The car is an option.....

Anything else on the GPS like music or such?
Was it while you are running a long route?
Do not ever chose 'reset to factory defaults'.
Sometimes I see that when Primo encounters a map error.
Powering it off and back on usually fixes it when it occurs for me.

Nothing else on the GPS
Recently it’s without any routes running, I’m just using it as a speedo
I stay away from the reset to factory default
I sometimes have to power it off and on a few times during a ride.

I also thought about putting in a new card in it

Chinavision- the name within itself says a lot about being a cheapskate beyond any sympathy from me, I hope all your Chinese garbage give you exactly what you paid for- it’s your money and your choice. Just like my choice to speak up, HRRRUMP !

And I wonder where your GPS (assuming you have one) was actually manufactured or most of the other electronics you may possess ..... :think1:
I don't think anyone was asking for sympathy, but merely a possible solution. ;)
Sometimes it needs to be said ...

Hahaha- it doesn’t take much to get a keyboard warrior riled :rofl1:
Have you learned to make a fire in damp weather without lighter fluid yet ?

When a person is asking for help I like to be helpful instead of ugly.
Ugly is pretty cheap and plentiful to come by these days.
Riled? You seemed to be looking at your responses, but not me.
If the 'fire' is a reference to the BRG, you are more than welcome to come and be in charge of the fire building any time. ;)
