Escort Solo S3 radar detector

Just got one of these for Christmas and it's designed to be suction-cup mounted on windshield interior.
I'd like to use on my 08 ST-1300, but can't find anything that talks about using the suction-cup mount
on a m/c windshield. And, to add to the mix, my ST has an adjustable screen. Any and all replies
appreciated.

Dennis - thanks, especially for the photo. Next question - where did you get the mount?
Is it a clamping type?

I affixed a wedge of plastic to the dash with screws & then just used Velcro
to hold the radar detector to the wedge so it can't touch the shield when down.

Hi MM,

I bought it from Turbo City but I think that they are out of the motorcycle parts business. Here's a link to see what it looks like.

Installation was simple, remove two screws and use theirs to install.

I use a 2x2 inch piece of industrial velcro on the shelf and a 1x2 piece on the bottom of the detector. Both are clear and they hold well. TCI made a left side specific shelf as well as a right. If I remember the price was around $50 with another $15 for shipping and handling.

You could post a "looking for" ad here and see if someone has one laying around that they aren't using.

It's worth the effort.
