Merv - ABSII or standard (since they have different fork sizes)?
Standard, I think someone has messed about with mine before I GOT IT
I would but mine have been changed by someone else before I got the bikeMeasure the distance at the top triple clamp.

Measuring off one of my standard parts bike at the top (center of fork cap to center of folk cap) - 8 inches (taken with a tape measure).
BTW, the same measurement for an ABSII is 8 1/8 inches which would make some sense since the forks are 43MM not 41MM.

Read up on IGOFAR way off setting the forks, I use the tighten one and bounce the front to set them, his is much more accurate and isn't hard to do. He is much clearer in his steps than I am
