Hellos,

my -92 built and -94 registered ST1100 suffered a front suspension failure yesterday when riding. It leaks oil a lot from the left tube. And right at the start of the season, of course....

I have yet to read my repair manual, but would like to ask which parts to order and replace for it for a good rebuild now that I will have to do it anyways? Anything wearing down. Here is an image for reference.

I have not done this before, I have only installed a set of Gold Valves on my old Africa Twin, and that was not too complicated. Might do the same for this one, too, if I can find the correct model.

Thanks!

EDIT: OK, just found this! Excellent! It might answer my question.

#13 (upper bushing)*
#14 (lower bushing)*
#32 (dust cover & seal)
#42 (bolt damper -> if you round them out during disassembly; I had to drill the heads off a few stubborn ones in the past ;) )
#43 (seal copper)
#44 (seal copper)

#48 (O-ring)**
#25 (cover dust)
#39 (bush nylon)
#26 (clip C)
#24 (stop rubber)
#47 (O-ring)

*wear indicator is the gray Teflon coating; the bushings are done once the bronze underneath shines...
**parts for the anti-dive... I'd clean (and rebuild) that too when already in there...
