I don’t believe the lower tank has a breather. It has a fuel feed hose and a fuel return hose. The small hole up top IIRC is an overflow drain tube for the upper tank.I'm wondering if this small hole on the left side of the fuel fill is the breather for the lower tank.
Larry is talking about the 'bar' in the tank going from 1 to 8 o'clock.I relocked. Are u talking in the tank or the surface surrounding the hole?
Yes.. water drain.put a little bit of water in and it should run out behind the shifter. I bought my 07 new with 0.00 km and the hose was kicked. If your s does not run out Remove the seat, left luggage bag. Remove the side panel and you will see a hose see if it's kinked
ThanksThe hole that you are asking about is both a fuel overflow drain as well as a drain for water that might accumulate around the filler neck.
As for the what fuel tank nipple is for what- see below.
1- Vent tube to allow air to escape the lower fuel tank during fill-up.
2- Breather tube connected to the charcoal canister.
3- Drain tube to evacuate fuel spills or water from around the upper fuel tank filler neck.
4- The large hose that connects the upper fuel tank to the lower fuel tank.
A- Electrical harness for the fuel level sensors.
