Gloves Gloves of 3

I'm in the market for new gloves. My old Held "Steve's" are done. I was just going to replace them, but during my search I came upon a coulpa other choises.
I'm look for experiances with any glove, and thoes who may have owned any below.

I'm leaning toward the Aerostich Elkskin's because of the price.

Hi Tom,

I put 80k miles on the Aerostitch Ropers. They are fairly thick goat skin, took a while to break in, and the seams are turned into the inside (look nice on the outside, extra material for sewing on the inside). After break in they were quite comfortable and took a beating in a wide variety of weather and riding situations. That said, I never had any confidence they would stay on my hands in a big crash - a feeling I thankfully never got to test out. The Ropers, of course, are not the same as the Elkskin guantlets. My buddy has a pair of those, and they have a zip fastener to cinch up the gauntlet.

I replaced the Ropers with the Lee Parks gauntlet gloves. The seams are also turned in, but the elk skin material is thinner and instantly comfortable. They have a velcro wrist strap and I am highly confident they will not come off in a crash. In warm weather and hot they have been great. Just now getting into colder weather testing, but the gauntlet style will likely go as cold as the Aero Ropers or colder.

I own both the Lee Parks (good) and a pair of Held Steve (better). I like the Held best.

I know, I know. I was this close to just getting the Held's. But then the options popped up. Ugh , thanks guys for the help.

ARG, it takes me forever to buy anything .

Have had a pair of Steve's for a short time, hardly enough time to break them in, but as far as I am concerned, they are the perfect summer/fall glove.
