Well, finally done it, instead of selling my beloved 1991 st1100, being that im only 5'7" , i Just could not find my comfort zone on this bike, the handlebar its Just too low, too far down, thus, making this bike very uncomfortable . It took a while, but it cae out awesome . Now i can ride for hours, ....and still looking foward to keep riding.i will post pictures as soon as i can

Nice work. Can you elaborate on what cables/hoses/lines you had to extend/replace?

Sure thing, both clutch and brake lines has to be extended about 8 inches same with throtle cables, and electrical controls, total spent, 250 usd. Most expensive were the hydraulic hoses for clutch and brake. About 100 dlls, another 150 for everything else, including labor. I did a lot of work myself.

Looks nice. Did the handlebar already have the crossbar or did you add it? I am the same height as you and am exploring options to modify/replace the stock handlebar.

Added crossbar for additional accesories cellphone holder, speakers etc.plus it adds rigidness to the whole thing.
