I know this sounds stupid but after purchasing an 02 ST I cant find the hazard light switch. I've checked the owner and shop manual and came up empty. Is it that the bike simply does not have any or am I missing the obvious.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Umm... Red switch on the left Switch housing? Triangle on it?

Looks like a kill switch but on the left bar...

If you have an 03 non abs, you will not have 4 way flashers.\

But, if you install the oem elec windshield & left switch assy, you will also get the 4 way as an added bonus.

But they are pretty easy and cheap to hook up. The 'tough' part is finding a weatherproof switch (the police switch works nicely for that!). Basically what I did was a fused hot directly from the battery to a standard flasher then to the input on two generic relays (two relays keep the circuit for the left and right separate). Use common wire to switch them, common ground, and run the output from one relay to the hot wire for the left signal, the output from the other relay to the right signal. You can tap the wires easily where they come out of the fairing into the mirror housings. Also a simplier way that someone came up with was just a switch that allowed current to flow from one side to the other. To turn them on, flip the 'new' switch and turn the signals on either side. This assumes they only work with the key on, my way they work with the key off. Hope that gives you some ideas.

Thanks Mark, I thought I was starting to lose my mind . So the company that bothers to install a remote headlight adjustment knob overlooks hazard warning lights , how did that ever get by those sticklers at D.O.T. Kind of a major blowit move IMHO.

If you are thinking about installing them...
I would prefer hazards that didn't require the headlights to be on ( visions of dead battery dancing in my head)... so I'd go with wiring them up to work in the key off position...
