“let me drink my coffee first” is not a suggestion...
its safety protocol... :coffee:

G'Day...

15°/31°C today, hazed but clear skies... scolding ☀️

home and office cuppas successfully absorbed... ☕

even ze GF is commuting on her motorsickle again...

and I (on the ST) wonder (again) why riders of 50 & 125cc mopeds always attempt to challenge...
I hate the weekly ordeal of having to pick them out the air-filter... :cautious:

anyhoo... back to work... ASAP... 🖥️

as
slow
as
possible... ;)

have a good one!

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's 68°F and cloudy in Rockville with scattered showers possible (again... sigh) between 0900 and 1400 then again from 1500 to 2000. The first set won't affect me but the later set may interfere with the plan for a half-round of goof. Perhaps we'll adjourn early and go to dinner.

Other than that, ukulele playing needs to happen, at considerable length.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Morning all, and thanks Martin for getting us started.

11C and overcast for the ride in to work. Still damp from the overnight rains, with rains expected this afternoon once again (and temps of 17)

It'll drop back down the next few days into single digits they are saying, and be damp. Such is May, innit?

Hope everyone has a great and relaxing day.

Obo.

Good morning all!
It’s great to be back home!
Yes Obo, it certainly was a long trip but my 88 year old sister is extremely happy that I did that for her! BTW, she was also a sister that Judy thought a lot of, so it was a double win!
Now I can get back to where I left off??
Has anyone seen my tractor keys??

Currently 46F heading to 69 that’s 8C and 21 in Canucksville units! The weather person is calling for a passing shower and a pleasant day.

Martin's Magic! Coffee for all, thanks very much! Weather could be better, but that can't be helped. Yesterday's warm encouragement had me out and about on the big girl, and lovin' it. (Indian Roadmaster) Continuing to get acquainted with the bells and whistles, and finding a feeling of confidence about being able to ride for hour after hour, mile after mile, enroute to OhSToc, which is coming up soon. And then there's WoodSToc in August. Two potential tour locations which I had had in mind for that event, were visited, and a warm reception was received at each. Details to be unveiled on the WoodSToc thread a bit later, after I finish my coffee!

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's partly cloudy and 61, becoming sunny and 75, later.

The post for the front porch was installed , with a few trips to HD. I made a third trip to return some AC bellows that I don't need.

Today, I'll try to install the railing, or at least read the instructions.
I'll also try to pack for our trip up north this weekend, for the motorcycle races in Loudon.
Maybe a visit from the visiting nurse .
Dinner, somewhere.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Thanks Martin.
Another rainy day, then supposedly two more to follow.
Here at the dentist, so he can check my stitches.
So I can't say all ugly, rude, inappropriate things I usually say, because the office wifi may be monitoring my transmissions.
And I just read that thread about the lawnmowers that may be spying on us all, and reporting to the intelligence agencies.
Can't be too careful!
So go about your day...
Carefully.

@Sadlsor secret comms on a tooth.... It's not just science fiction you know.

Modern defence technology has successfully integrated covert communication devices into the teeth.
  • Molar Mic: Developed by Sonitus Technologies (with funding from the U.S. military), this device is custom-fitted to snap onto the upper back molars.
  • How It Works: It is not exactly a transmitter hidden inside the core of the tooth, but rather an appliance that sits over the teeth. It uses a bone-conduction speaker that converts radio signals into vibrations, sending sound waves through your cranial bones directly to your inner ear. It also includes a hidden waterproof microphone, allowing you to both send and receive.
  • Uses: It allows special operators and soldiers to communicate under extreme conditions (e.g., jumping from planes or hovering in helicopters) without external earpieces or bulky headsets

Good morning from Mountain Mesa California this morning, 38 where I camped and it is 52 here right now going to 64 later in the day but I will make it home from Uncle Larry's place in Nampa Idaho.

Here is where I camped last night.

Enjoy your day and be safe out there.

Morning, fellas. It's going to be 86F and sunny, and uncommonly very windy here in UT today. I'm headed out to mow the lawn in a bit, then maybe a ride despite the wind. Being a naked ST, it doesn't get pushed around by the wind as much as you guys.

Marriage hack for the day: If you can normalize "I'll do it tomorrow, sweetie," your life will be so much easier. ;)

Cheers (with coffee)!

Morning all! Sunny and blue skies here with a predicted high of 24C. 15C right now.

Back from Calgary. Had a great trip. Rode the ST out and back. The memorial golf tournament for my friend that passed at the end of December was a huge success. They raised close to $150K for associated cancer charity. It was also nice to catch up with everyone and hang out with my son.

The ride was amazing for the most part; absolutely gorgeous scenery the whole way and even though I took the major highway there were plenty of twists and turns running through the mountains so that was a lot of fun. The trip back was a bit damp as I ran into some major rain showers but I was well garbed up in gear and cozy so all good. Discovered that my butt and other sensitive parts of my anatomy do not cope well with 11 hour rides however. May need to consider a change in garments, seat or just start doing longer rides than 30 minute commutes.

Back at work but working from home as my home office chair is a bit softer :D

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Martin & All from a very :wind1: , Southern Utah!

Currently it is 67F, up from 59F and heading for 71F. The winds have been blowing all night and will continue into tomorrow. We've been seeing them from the South up to and steady @ 27mph. And later, possibly up to 39MPH, from the SSW!

Brian, welcome back home!

Mandrake, welcome to the coffee club! Where, like fishing stories, sometimes you just got to think..."okay"... :rofl1:

Yesterday I got sidelined helping a older (older then me) couple move. I helped their SIL load their 26' U-Haul. the SIL will be driving it back to California for them. They are moving to be near their daughter, so they can have family help available.

So today, I'll be nursing my knee so I can get back to my own stuff later. But with these winds, I doubt if I'll be outside anytime soon.

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ for the morning start. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
