Yes the piston shaped slide that holds the main needle and has a rubber diaphragm attached at the outer endSlides? As part of the carbs?
Why?I would like to get my slides soda blasted
My guess is old fuel varnish buildup on the slides? No reason to do anything if they are clean. I've never heard of soda blasting, but I would guess it is a mild abrasive like walnut shells that does not harm soft metal. Why?
As in Baking Soda used as the medium instead of sand.My guess is old fuel varnish buildup on the slides? No reason to do anything if they are clean. I've never heard of soda blasting, but I would guess it is a mild abrasive like walnut shells that does not harm soft metal.
The slides have a varnish that refuses to come of with solvent and I don't want to mark the slides in any way. The Soda blast is non damaging and will get back to the metal. Why?
This is an amazing resource , thank youThese people might have a replacement diaphragm....
