This planet is like 70% water...
and I am like 70% coffee...
Coincidence?... :coffee:

G'Day...

-1°/3°C, the weekend snow has melted/washed away, full overcast, damp, drizzle, sleet, hoarfrost, corners with black ice, whatever ghastly the weather gods throw at us...
So the roads have been gritted, the trusty Toyota looking really messy...
Will have to pop into the car-wash every week now, to dilute the salt accumulated on undercarriage and body... $$$... :cautious:

We're back on our regular program of home Nespresso and office Nescafé... :coffee:

So is ze GF with her moaning and wailing while not wanting to get out of bed...
Sorry hon', the lazy days are over, neither early retirement nor emergency slaughter have been granted, so you're back in full service... move! ;)
Armpit crutches have been replaced with forearm models, and she uses only one at her right side...
And even that only for longer distances, as long as she's moving within a room, she leaves it leaning somewhere... (for me... to trip over... :devilish:)

A blood pressure monitor is inbound, should arrive tomorrow... they want me to log the OBD readouts 3 times a day... over several weeks...
And then? Tweak the advancer to even more pre-ignition?... pfffff...

Anyhoo... work is calling... gotta go... have a good one!

Morning all, and thanks Martin for the startup.

The pressure of it all, whot?

-5C for the commute in in the dark. Should be "mild", around 6C, later on. Clouds will abound they say. The roofers called yesterday and as long as the weather permits, they'll arrive today to be the green kind of vampires, vs the red kind we've discussed lately. The old roof will come off and a band new one (fibreglass asphalt shingles) will go on. Found a company that uses old school hammers vs nail guns. Craftsmanship costs $$ though.

Hope everyone has a great day and doesn't get in over their heads.

Obo.

Thx Martin, «emergency slaughter..» hahaha!

Just returned from Bergen.
Next time I’ll stay at home, shall spare you the details.

Just washed the car, cold but necessary.
Picking up Peter in a bit.

4˚c/39f, showers, quite calm.

Have a good one, may you vehicles be clean!
Stu

From a late afternoon walk in Bergen (Minde).

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the startup, Martin.

It's 45°F and cloudy in Rockville. Sunup is still 45 minutes in the future, after which the temperature will climb, v-e-r-r-r-y s-l-o-o-o-w-w-w-l-y but without receding, to 556 by 0200 tomorrow. Rain is possible between noon and 2100 hours, and is quite likely between 1500 and 1900 hours.

A trip to the grocery store is the big ticket event of the day, ahead of and to obtain the supplies needed for Thursday's food coma-inducing feast.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start , Martin.

We're back home , where it's partly cloudy and 30. It'll rise to 50, and we have a chance of rain or snow tonight.

The local news stations are going on about travel problems coming, due to Thanksgiving , but we're sitting tight, this week.

I'll bring the truck to have the rear tire leak fixed , and we'll head over to the local warehouse store for some necessary items .

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Morning all, thanks for coffee Martin

45 fog and drizzle in the not yet frozen tundra. Forecast is for 5-7" of snow this weekend. Guess I won't be shoveling snow this year with my shoulder in rehab. Who will? Guess I better figure that out pretty quick here. 6 more days til this sling/brace thing goes in the dustbin.

Have a great day everyone, remember to be safe out there.

Good Morning, Thanks Martin both for coffee and Picture of Wisdom. Cold and wet outside 40 F /4 C and add a couple of degrees for the high, Take a Cage kind of day if I have to go anywhere. Need to drive Ruby ( Dodge Van) more often, yesterday She took about twenty seconds of Cranking over before filling the Carb with gas and starting. Nothing Special on today's agenda, but will find something to do, All the best G

Morning all! Grey and decidedly wet today what with the rain pouring down and all. Supposed to rain all day as well. Currently 6C with a predicted high of 7C.

Drove the car in this morning so I brought the younger dog. He's enjoying walking up and down the hall getting pets and compliments from everyone in the office. He wanders back to check in every so often before heading back out for more adoration. I think I might be getting a tad bit jealous....

Got the ok from physio to return to light swimming yesterday. My range of movement is pretty well back to normal and there's only a bit of ache and tightness at the end of range. No butterfly however which will be an easy restriction to follow

Hope everyone has a great day and doesn't get roofied....the pill kind!

Morning Martin & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently @ 10:40AM, it is 43F, up from 25F, and heading for 51F. No breeze yet, but later we'll see the winds out of the N@ 7 to 9mph.

I worked on the WeSTOC event page, still more to do, before Adam adds it to the website. We also stopped by the store to pick up whatever Chris needed for Thursday dinner. And I stopped and washed me truck.. Must have been one of those days to wash them.

Today, I hope to finish up on the Event page, I need to find the network addresses of the different places around here. And then tonight we'll go be going to our local temple for a session. That should be interesting, it will be the first time in the Cedar City Temple.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good morning y’all. 52*f here in Ohio and rain all day. I picked up my new to me 2016 ST1300pa yesterday. Rode 65 miles before I put it away for winter. Salt and brine expected on the roads over the next few days. Doing some housework (laundry/dishes) on my day off. Start afternoons tomorrow in the steelmill.

Good morning all!
Thanks for today’s offering Martin!
We’re in the eye specialist office now.
There’s a reason we live where we do!!!
Did I mention how much dislike I have for cities!
We hope to be out of here in a few hours!
We will spend the evening with her niece & husband, then travel home tomorrow.

Donk, I hope your shoulder is healing well!
WB
