Quick back story, planned to go to Cabot trail this year, things just kept getting in the way. I picked up a Superbrace, ordered the protectors and decided to ride up and then install it for the ride back. I wanted to feel the difference having just put some miles on the bike. Loaded the bike and the weather just kept looking worse up north. Keeping the bike loaded I went for a ride, about 400mi through all types of roads. Having reached approximately halfway, I installed the brace in a parking lot.
No brace

Brace

The difference was immediately noticeable. Turing the bike and accelerating to leave the parking spot and then the parking lot. Grabbing a fist full of brake there was no shutter in the bars. Stiff is the only word I can think to use to describe the improvement. My bike is not stock, Racetec 90kg springs front and rear w/ 5wt oil. Handling was always firm and plush, now I would say it was sloppy. Best handling improvement I have done so far, gold valves incoming.
Of course there will be a trade off, whaam, whaam, whaam, is the sound the front tire is making at 70mph. It was tracking straight before and after, but I'll need to insure it's close to perfect to avert unusual wear I think. Overall I give it 5 gears for letting me hit bumps leaned over and no movement in the front end, it is a super brace.
