Good morning everyone

The French roast is ready for you so come and get it!

It's a humid 68°F in Rockville, where we had a trace of moisture overnight but nothing of consequence nor will it persist, as we expect sunny skies and a high around 80.

I've been maneuvered into helping Mrs. Fun at a book talk today, where she'll be speaking about her graphic novel. My job will be to process credit card payments on book sales, if any should occur.

After that I'll head for the links for a round of goof.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them.

G'Day...

11°/22°C today, blue skies, sunny...

Riding to the workplace I stared into driver's doors twice today... one running a red light, the other ignoring to yield at a roundabout... :cautious:

Great fiasco in the break room, their automatic coffee machine broke down... ;)
No issues for me, got my Nescafé bags, only hot water needed...
No work tomorrow, Labor Day...
City gonna be closed/state of emergency over their annual marches... I stay well clear of such...
Gonna have to get the '94 ST into the shop, circling down on the cause of that valve train noise, and the pressure switch/controller for the irrigation pump has to be installed...
They predicting up to 26°C this w/e... and grass is an "aquatic plant" ;)
Off designing a VRF system...
have a good one!

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Keith.

It's a bit overcast this morning at 61, but it will become partly cloudy as the temperature rises to 67

I spent yesterday morning cleaning the filters over the stoves at my friend's restaurant, and blowing the debris from his parking lot.
It took some doing, but I got in touch with the dealer service department, verified that the Wing was ready, and picked it up.:)
I moved on to various projects around the house, and we went out to dinner. We didn't take the Wing, though..:(

Today, I'll go down to the track in Thompson, CT for the car event that they're having.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Keith!

We had a somewhat ferocious wind event come through yesterday, along with the year's first thunderstorm. Lots of crash-bang-boom, but it was short lived. It's meant to be mainly sunny this morning, but all I see is a grey, overcast sky at the moment. The forecast assures us that the sun will shine brightly for the rest of the day...we shall see. It's cold again, though: 2°C/36°F with a feels-like of -3°C/27°F right now, high of 12°C/54°F later. That's a heck of a difference from yesterday!

@St-Gerard: I was glad to see you got out for a spin yesterday, well done!

Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Thanks for the needed coffee, Keith! Out the door late again but not as late as yesterday. 65F/18C and headed up to 80. Drove today as yesterday was a reminder why riding isn't worth it anymore. I got a half hour of enjoyment followed by an hour of suffering, followed by a 20-min walk in my riding boots. All to save a little gas? Not. Fun. Maybe on an off day like Mon or Fri. Midweek? Fugeddaboudit.

Got the fridge moved out of the basement and up to ground level thanks to my sons help. Dear sweet Jesus...I didn't know seven stair steps could be so hard even with him pushing from below. Then I tripped at the top and the thing fell on me. I controlled the fall but I couldn't have gotten back up without him there. No injuries or damage. But boy I was spent.

Got the bike tire fixed too, though it could've been much less expensive and quicker had I just replaced the tube instead of trying to save it with a patch. Cleaned and repacked the bearings too. Spins much smoother now. The freewheel assy needs service too but it'll have to wait.

Today will be the joy of work followed by more bsmt cleanup. Oh and I've found that a string trimmer makes quick stand-off work of hovering Carpenter bees. Take care y'all!

Morning all! It's a beautiful sunny day out there and it made for a pretty nice ride in to work. Too nice actually, I was very tempted to just keep going and take the day off. Currently 8C with a predicted high of 15C.

It's my wife's birthday today so we'll have a dinner, cake and presents with her parents and assorted other relatives. Which means I need to get a card and present today before I head home. I totally booted her birthday this year, we just had so much going on that I kept putting off getting her gift. The joys of ADHD....However, I do know what I want to get her so that should make things easier.....hopefully.

Gerard, I'll add my congrats to Patty's, glad to hear you're able to get back on the bike. Enjoy!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Keith & All from overcast skies, in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 58F, up from 40F and heading for 66F. The Weather Guessers decided we needed some rain this morning. We'll see if anything hits the ground. We already have a breeze, from the SSW @ 7 to 9mph. Later this afternoon, the winds will be out of the W @ 15 to 18mph.

Run down to ST George was successful! I was able to drop off the things that Chris needed along with making my wallet lighter!

Today, I'm hoping to try to install the 06 engine, into the AZ05 frame. My biggest fear is trying to get the driveshaft installed. It's pretty tight in there. :unsure-2x:

Boiled eggs, bacon, a biscuit & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) will be on the menu for later.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
