I replaced my thermostat 3ish years ago and small rubber hoses too, I think. The plastic T broke and I found a replacement at NAPA. I had a coolant link so I replaced the coolant clamps and hoped I fixed it. Earlier this year I replaced the large hoses and have smelled the sweet smell of coolant since being under the throttle bodies. Back into the V and measured the hose barbs on each cylinder, on the TBs, and the radiator. 6mm and 8mm respectively. I purchased 3/16” hose as that was the closest when converted to metric for the smaller and then began searching for a replacement T as the NAPA replacement broke. Apparently, 3/16 and 5/16 are odd sizes so I resorted to online searching. Beer hose is 3/16 and 5/16. I purchased a stainless steel 3/16 T and a 3/16 to 5/16 barb for under under $8.
The hose went on easily with denatured alcohol as a lubricant. Otherwise nice and tight. Hopefully, no more leaks. :pray1:

Is beer hose designed to be continually exposed to automotive coolant temperatures? Or was this for something other than coolant?
