Cant remember ever needing to do one of these, bikes have come and gone.... but doing both the clutch and front brake master cylinders...
The new seal is nasty stiff and very stubborn to get on.... (wonder how Honda does it) its putting up a good fight....
Waht are your tricks to get it on smoothly without tearing it...... or do I just need a big bottle of patience?

Old one and new rebuilt kit one....

I just rebuilt a Triumph rear master for my boss, and it looked exactly like that. Seal was stiff too. I used a bit of Castrol red grease and persuaded it on with some finger pressure and a smooth seal spoon. No problem. If you don't have the grease, use some brake fluid as lube. Popsicle sticks, etc. work as tools, as long as nothing is sharp or edged it could work. Just work it on slow.
