I have some of those M12 batteries and they are not much in the way of capacity. Maybe 2 amps. So if this jacket can run for hours off of that battery, it dosen't have much in the way of real wattage.

And this is only doing your chest and back, no arms heating element.

Still.. might be fun to play with since I have the batteries already.

Keep in mind it is only 3 zone l chest r chest and back It might be ok for a spring or fall ride or even one of those cool summer nights but I don't think it wioll do much for a really cold day ride.

If you are looking at tis type of jacket I picked up a ANSAI heated jacket a few weeks ago. Dave1963 showed his to me at Pardeeville Tech after I rode in frozen to the core.
It comes with the battery. So far it works greats....

Can't draw a whole lot if it's pulling through a lighter/accessory outlet.
Well most of the accessory outlets are fused at 10 amps, so your talking 140+ watts. Enough for a Gerbing liner and gloves.

So doing the math.. about 18 watts of power in a M12 battery.
If this can run the jacket on low for 6 hours, it is generating 3 watts of heat, on high, maybe 9 watts.

A typical heated liner for a motorcycle, 80 watts.

But this might come in handy for those that get cold around camp or use it when ya crawl into the sleeping bag.
