I’m not addicted to coffee per se...
I’m addicted to the brief window where everyone around me becomes slightly less unbearable... :coffee:
(I understand why some prefer to live alone in the woods...)

G'Day...

20°/32°C, still clear skies, sunny... maybe a brief heat thunderstorm in the afternoon/evening... ☀️ ⛈️
(of course the obligatory "severe heat!" warning in the media... pfffff... not so long ago 32°C simply meant one scoop more ice-cream please... 🍨)

home and office coffeeination... :coffee:

summer solstice passed this weekend, the end of the year is closing in...
evil tongues even claim that Xmas is near...

back in the mine... yuck... 😒

may your coffee kick in before reality does… 😎

Thanks Martin, and good morning all.

13 and sunny for the ride into work. Will see 19 and cloudy for the ride home this afternoon.

It's Monday, which means even if you're retired, your stress hormones will be elevated due to years of muscle memory.

Relax, take it easy, and then get back to work.

Obo.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's a pleasant, almost cool, 66°F in Fayetteville PA with cloudy skies and high odds of rain later in the day. We'll head back home mid-morning.

Our day yesterday was pleasant and low-key. We took a short hike in nearby Caledonia State Park then visited the older downtown area of Chambersburg.

This area (Adams and Franklin Counties, PA) is lovely but I don’t feel any urge to relocate here. Despite it being only an hour's travel north of us, I can't shake the perception that PA is a "winter" state and therefore to be avoided.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's 57 and sunny in MA this morning, but we're told to expect some morning showers before it becomes steady rain this afternoon.

We had a good but long day at the track, yesterday. We were racing, when thunder and lightning in the vacinity caused us to stop for a bit. The rain hit at a good lunch stopping point, and additional lightning kept us indoors a bit longer.
When we restarted, it was now a WET DAY and the races were shortened to 6 laps instead of 8.
One of the ladies we know up there crashed in turn 6, so that spoiled the day, somewhat.
In other news, the lady who was my PT stopped by to say hello, and we had a brief but nice visit.

Driving home, we were about 5 miles from home when Brenda hit a small bump, and the rear of the car started clattering!
We checked things out, once we were home, and found that the rear shock dust cover had dislodged, and was the cause of the noise.
So Brenda will call the shop, and schedule an appointmen for the shocks to be replaced.

Today is also a "Club" track day in Thompson, and I'll be there for that.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Thanks Martin, now who is "estival"? Don't know him... is he related to Cristobal?
No matter, there are more people i don't know, than those who I know.
50 - 60% rain chances, highs in the summer temp range for Alabama, humidity likewise.
Yesterday was stormy. Somewhere, but not here, where it was predicted.
But I started late this morning, so I'll have to keep my unknown thoughts to myself, for now.
And probably later too, as I may not remember them by the time I get back here.
Meanwhile, the grass, and especially the weeds, are doing well in my yard. And it all just keeps growing, longer and taller.
So much for deep thoughts.
They're not with me this morning, so it's a perfect time for a refill. Y'all know what I mean.
See ya.

Good morning and thank you for the morning start. 41 when I just left Mancos Colorado headed to 90 later in the day but I am sure that I will see higher heading home today.

Here are a couple of pictures from yesterday's ride.

Enjoy your day and be safe out there.

Good Morning and thanks Martin, Sunny and warm today, air is still, phone on the charger so don't know what the temperature is and honestly don't want to know I'm comfy at the moment. Got out for a ride last night to Celebrate Father's Day. Wife is planning to go to Birch Bay for a week or two , hopefully leaving this evening. Solitude! , yeah I'm One of those guys that likes to ride by myself or should I say Me, Myself and I are Excellent company. Okay enough blabbering, y'all survive Monday, G

Morning all! Sunny blue skies again today, I could get used to this. 13C right now, predicted high of 30C (86 in Freedom Degrees). Glad I brought a tshirt and shorts for the ride home....inside the gear of course.

Spent yesterday sanding and then priming the front of the garage. It's cedar so I had to use an oil based primer which, and maybe this was just my sloppy technique, but I found it spattered a heck of a lot easer than latex. Thankfully, I had tarps down in abundance but boy it looked like a Jackson Pollock painting by the end. Glad to have got the primer up anyway. Next we need to revisit the paint colour and make a decision.

Patty/Andrew, glad you have both survived the flooding. Hopefully, you'll get a break in the weather, at least for a bit.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I always enjoy your photos and travels, Mike. Wish we had opportunities for solitary, out-of-the-way camping here on the East Coast like you are so good at finding out west.

Morning Martin & All, from sunny Southern Utah!

Currently it is 81F, heading for 92F (or higher). A slight breeze now, but later the winds will be out of the SW @ 15 to 24mph.

Yeah, I would say that Mike's trip, is making us all a little jealous.

So yesterday I got word from the "Vendor" I had decided to "try" for the WeSTOC 30 shirts, that one particular shirt that I ordered was not available! I want to know why they tell me that now, instead of letting me know when I ordered it? So, I'm searching for another vendor at this point! :censored:

I'm going to try to ignore the Sun/ Heat and get something done. I'm not sure yet what that will be.

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
