G'Day...

19°/32°C, a few clouds, soggy @ >60% RH... maybe some rain in the late afternoon... 🌤️⛅🌥️☁️🌧️
and of course the obligatory 'heat warning'... yeah, keep on beating that drum... 😑

Nespresso at ze GF's... :coffee:

office, dull, at least there is my hot cuppa Nescafé... ☕

commute: a necessary evil, so is work... 🏍️ 🖥️
besides the SOP of being blame-stormed, nothing special happening...
(right, da boss-man not showing up at a site meeting, clients are unloading at me... great...)

In that sense:

so, let's check some emails to save the world... again... 😎

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's 65°F and clear in Rockville as the sky begins to brighten ahead of official sunrise at 0554. We'll have a high around 91, which will feel like 100. The morning hours will be cooler, though, which has me thinking one final bike ride before I leave would be a good idea.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thanks Martin, much appreciated. 75 degrees here in The Heart of The Finger Lakes heading to a record breaking temp of 97 today. Not much on tap for today, had a tooth pulled yesterday and they said to take it easy today. I will se how that goes. Have a great day today all and be safe out there. Later!
Peter Z

Thx Martin!

There’s a heatwave in the country…giving us 13˚c/55f, fog and 15mph breeze from north, it’s bearable.

Today is cleaning bike, lawn mowing, and possibly riding the before mentioned bike…Mrs Stu is sceptical..

And I wonder what the toothfairy brought @peterz

Have a good one!
Stu

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's 66, going to 93 in MA today. High humidity as well.

Yesterday's track day went well. We saw a number of cars that we don't normally see, and had NO miatas show up. Mostly Porches , BMW, and Vettes, with the occasional Lamborghini. Aside from the occasional overrun, things stayed safe.

Brenda got on the grill, and cooked up some burgers and dogs.

Today , we'll be back at it again, for a Club day. I expect a shorter day, especially if we get rain, later. Dinner will probably be leftovers, before Brenda goes bowling.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Good morning all!
Thanks for getting us started, Martin.
Glad to see @peterz stopping by!
I have a dentist appointment today as well, must be the season!
Stay hydrated folks!

Here are the pictures I mentioned of my mowing job on an access road.
In total about 2.6 K or 1.6 M!
This is a bit I didn’t mow, they don’t pay!

These were mowed!

Thanks, Martin.
I'm only showing up to offer our completely overcast skies and of course showers, weather report.
But, WAIT!
Someone is reporting "Excessive heat today🥵 !
Huh? With an expected high of 79°?!
And there's MORE! (Who is Americares? Probably some NGO that needs to be defunded.)
They claim, "Extreme heat brought on by rising global temperatures from climate change is creating deadly conditions. Americares is at work on the frontlines of this health crisis."
Gee, I feel so much safer and at ease now.
Pfffttt!
Are we really still doing this?
Good grief, if I lapped up and ate all the fear the media peddles, I would weigh 700lbs!
I underestimated my penchant for wordiness this morning, believing I'd just report the dreary forecast, and move along.
Until I saw that absurd and flatly debunked climate crisis appeal.
Ah, well.
It is the media.
And in the immortal words of The Atlanta Rhythm Section...
"The world is in an uproar and I see no end in sight,
But I'm not gonna let it bother me tonight."
Good advice.
And I think I'll take it, along with my second cup of coffee.
Sorry for the outburst, but you know how I am, before my first 3 cups of coffee.
Enjoy your coffee, or I'll share my Black Rifle.
And we won't let it bother us tonight.
Or today.

(My phone won't usually let me copy the url of a YouTube video, but see if this works... )

(Hey! It works to hear the song.)

Morning all, and thanks Martin for the startup.

Maybe if you made an error, someone else would get blamed. That's how it seems to me from the outside.

16 & cloudy here, headed to 19 and rain. We can use the wet, so it's not all that bad. It also helps keep the heat down!

@Stu, I'm sure Peter will do well with the tooth fairy. I think the going rate is currently somewhere around a used ST1100. @Whisker Bill on the other hand will try and convince the dentist, he doesn't want to spend more that a used ST100 for his visit!

Hope everyone has a great day and Keith has a great trip.

Obo.

Morning, happy Monday cleverly disguised as Tuesday, 5:30 am Mind Hamsters woke me up. So made Breakfast, opened gate and brought garbage to the street, let Precious outside for bathroom run. Partly Cloudy becoming Sunny for the day 59 F high of 79 F for the Canadians 15 C/26 , humidity 85 % Pressure 30.08 and rising, wind 2 mph Gusting 4 mph from 128° SE , enough details? Today's agenda, waste time till Wife gets up, so She can watch Precious, then I need to mow weeds , grass ain't growing. Hopefully get a ride in sometime today. Y'all survive Today G

Morning Martin & All from some clouds in the skies, in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 79F, and it should get up to 90F, with some possible thunderstorms around. We'll see if any of the wetstuff makes it around our house. There is a slight breeze now, but later the winds will be out of the NE @ 8 to 9mph.

I spent most of the day, creating a planter, along the south side of the back yard. I got it about 1/2 done, and I will continue today, before adding a water line and then dump some dirt into it, so Chris can plant her Iris's. Yeah, guess who won that bout! :box1: :cautious:

It's fun working out in the heat like that. Hopefully I won't keel over! :nuke1:

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) will be had later.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

G'mornin' from the office! A little slow getting out the door, I never bother ahead of time to gather my things to take to work. Barely got two sips in before it was time to leave, viel dank, Martin!

It was a nice ride in with low 70s, but traffic was not fun. I did get lucky and chose to go through a different gate than I usually do. I could see that the others were backed up but this one closed at 0830. I managed to roll through just before...whew! Must've saved at least 15-20 minutes of waiting in the queue to check ID and be let in.

Nothing exciting otherwise. Gonna get hot after today. Got the lawn mowed, see what else I can do in the garage before it reaches melting temps. Take care y'all!
