I have the mesh kevlar pants to put over my regular slacks, jeans, shorts, etc. Here in CA it was recommended to go with mesh rather than the stretch kevlar. I love the pants. used them in 30 - 110F weather rain and dry. Wouldn't get anything else. They are very easy to get on and off, workmanship and material quality is excellent.
I also have the rain liner for the pant, only had to use it a couple times for rain and a few times to help with warmth.
I feel at times the cut / tailoring is a little on the baggy side. My wife and girls tell me they don't look that baggy. There are no pinch points in the riding position, very comfortable.
I put mine through a wash cycle and that softened them up.
