2010 Honda ST1300
Hello all. Just purchased my first ST1300. Sold the BMW 1200 RT last year due to a bit tall and heavy. ST1300 is heavier, but an inch shorter per the specs and works well for me. I have only ridden about 80 miles so far, but it feels so right. Enjoying the forum already and look forward to riding more in retirement. Rich

Welcome from Middle TN. If you’d like to meet some of this group, ride up on June 7th, for my annual Ride-To-Eat. It’s just a backyard cookout that usually brings in about 25-30 riders, each year. It’s just an afternoon of eating BBQ and swapping tall tails of our riding adventures for the past year. Just show up and eat your fill. It’d be nice to see new faces.

Thanks everyone for the warm reception. John, I would like to come up to the ride to eat group meet, but already have made commitments to attend the hydrofest boat races planned for that weekend in Guntersville. I'm looking forward to the first long ride tomorrow, taking her home to Madison from Murphy NC. Rich
 
Hi, Rich. I got my ST-1300 on Thanksgiving Day, 2024. I like it. It's the first sport-touring bike I've ever been on.
I'm north of the Atlanta area and ride in Alabama sometimes. Was in Birmingham on that bike a couple weeks ago.
Would like to get up to Huntsville soon. Maybe Fort Payne (see the museum / gift shop for the country band Alabama).
