Hello members, I sold my 2008 GL1800 because 400+ kg was a little too much for me (70+). Bought a 2012 ST1300 with 52 tkm. I'll see how that goes. Both bikes have their +&-. They both cruise great.

I’m been riding for about 20 years on different bikes. Have had BMW K16, R12RT x2, Yamaha FJR x3 and GL1800 x2 times. I like everything about technic and work on the bike myself.

I went the other way, selling my '04 for an 'Wing.
Both are great bikes, and I hope you enjoy yours.

Thank you for kind welcome! The motorcycle is now sleeping and the autumn maintenance is done. It's time to plan for the upcoming season. Goldwing had cruise control and I miss that in the ST. Ten years ago I installed a McCruise device on a BMW RT. This would be one option, but I would like an electric servo-system.
 
Welcome Mikko! :canflag1: I've just added a '24 Wing to my stable from my ST1300.

I guess I've posted twice... I blame lack of coffee this morning.
 
Hi MK! I'm new here too. Registered about five weeks ago when I was looking at a 2007 bike for sale, and now I'm going to go talk to the owner and seriously consider buying it at the new LOWER price and maybe taking it home today. Congrats to you for getting your much newer 2012 model.
