Less is more. The hideous floorboards are off and footpegs are on. Bike looks much better with the seat off than it did with it on.

Back in 1977 I was at a dealer and had to make a decision between a new Yamaha 750 and a low mileage 2 year old GL1000. Same price.
I took the Yamaha. Nice bike, had it a about 4 years, but always regretted not taking the Honda. Great looking bike.

It's one of the best looking bikes I've ever owned. It was great to ride. I put more miles on that bike than most all my others combined. Even my ST with its two trips to MT.
For some reason a lot of the online pics of this bike show these high handlebars that mine didn't have. There are few pics with factory low bars. I still have a poster of this bike that shows the lower bars.
This is one of maybe five bikes I'd buy again if Honda made a retro model looked the same. Seeing one at Alice's Restaurant in Woodside CA I was surprised at how small it seemed next to my ST. But lots of plastic bits will do that.

A nice find, rare to spot out in the wild, especially one only marginally tempered with...
So well worth preserving, but be prepared that its a hobby that'll take time and money...
And time works against us, alone finding an electroplater for redoing parts the chromed fenders these days...
The chrome electroplaters are around, but the good ones's prices will make you gasp.

Yes!.....and they sent Tattoo to be my driver for a month but I had to feed him.....gave him some peanut M&Ms but he only wanted "the plain, the plain!"
