I mounted a Harbor Fright version of the Pelican boxes on the back of my NC750. I marked where the holes in the carrier were and just drilled through the bottom of the box. Then I secured it with SS bolts, washers, and nylock nuts. Nothing fancy. Since I never removed the top box from either my ST or VStrom, I figured a quick release was not necessary.

That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure if there were kits out there. Thank you!

Doesn't need to be. Just want to carry my toolkit, tube, pump etc. with enough leftover space to have an extra pair of gloves or take a layer off and store it.
That's pretty much what I carry in the box. Tire kit, compressor, jump starter, tools. The NC has a 'frunk' a big compartment where the fuel tank is on the 1300 that will hold a helmet so I put daily use stuff there. I slap a padlock on the HF pelican. Check out the HF box, it was cheap, they sell two sizes. When I was looking, the price of brand name Pelican boxes was breathtaking. There are 59 HF stores in Georgia,- one in Marietta not far from you.

I don't know about a T7, but I have run Pelican top cases for a decade on STs. I start with a Givi mounting plate specific to the ST then mount a square piece of aluminum to that to give a large flat platform. From there you simply drill the holes (4) through the floor of the pelican and the aluminum plate and bolt down. You will want to use large washers and probably a good idea to use adhesive for the washers to the pelican to avoid any possible cracking issues. The attached pics show the pelican atop a aux fuel cell on the tail and the other pic has two separate aux tanks over pillion seat and under the pelican. The aux tank below the pelican has vertical tubes that the bolts pass thru from Pelican to aluminum plate.
