With hoses and bolts removed I lift the radiator up to clear the lower pin the fan hits the frame and prevents removal. Manual states remove upper body panels to much effort. Must be an easy way. Any removal suggestions. Ride Safe Greg

It's been a while but I think you tilt the top foward then pull up.
For my 1300, I did this: (Not sure what an 1100 requires but I'd think its the same)
You tilt the Bottom forward and lift the radiator off the hooks. If you don't do this, you will bend the bracket or the hooks. We won't discuss how I know this.
However, I did remove the fairing when I did this (mine was a 1300). Did you disconnect the power to the fans at the not-so-quick connector? You will need a tiny screw driver, a flashlight and maybe a magnifying glass to figure this out.
