Hello guys,
wit h the risk of repeating this stupid question, there is a how to in regards of rear turn signal bulb replacement for ST1300?
My left rear turn signal died and I do not know how to remove the whole rear lamp or access the bulbs.

Thanks and sorry if I have asked a stupid question.

Contrary to popular belief there are stupid questions. This isn't one of them. :rofl1:

Remove the seat. Put your hand on the outside of the turn signal and eyeball the same space inside the rear cowl of the seat.

Looking into the rear cowl you can easily see each turn signal socket above the tail light area. A quarter turn or so anti-clockwise IIRC will remove the socket and bulb. When you remove it study the orientation and position in your hand. It'll be much easier to replace it after putting in a new bulb.

Have some silicone grease on hand to lube the o-ring when replacing the bulb. It's be much easier than removing it the first time and easier removing it next time.

Here's a link to a 2003 ST1300 Owner's Manual in case you don't have one. Much of the information is the same for several model years and will probably help with whatever year ST1300 you have.

Hello ST Gui,
with a delay I want to thank you for the instructions, now both rear turn bulbs are replaced and the Pan is back on the road.

Best regards,
John
