how bout it, what would be a good tire to head to alaska on and possible dalton hwy?
i was thinking PR3's but it says wider softer compound...not sure if that would be a good
choice on gravel or not .....

I would go double darkside - Rear tire on the front, car tire on the back. That would give you more rubber between the road and the air inside the tires that you want to keep in.

I ran 020 Bridgestones, all the way to the artic circle. I would think the PR3's will be fine. Just to let U know u will see full dresser's there. Dalton that is. Remember Salmon Glacier. That will be the toughest 21 miles to the top of mountain, BUT more that worth it. Have fun.
