Almost sounds like you corrected an old issue (loose fasteners) rather than created a new one. Sharper handing will tend to feel as though the bike wants to fall into turns. This is normal when insufficient throttle is applied. I’ve noticed a similar phenomenon when new tires are fitted. Maybe you were unknowingly fighting it a bit before?

I did wonder that but, I will be taking the wheel out again the week end and checking as instructions above.
I suppose if the lower yoke clamps were loose ,the legs would try to twist?..

I have just tried to reinstall the wheel as the procedure above and tried a test ride , still seems the same . The wheel spins with not much drag . Do the gaps look to be as they should on the pictures...

Since you've checked most of the stuff related to the forks themselves... what about the tires? Is there a serious flat spot in the middle, proper pressure, etc? Kind of grasping at straws to be honest.

Yes, after all that fuss, it was the expensive tyre inflator in my work was telling lies by - 15 psI. Found out that my car pressure indicators were all out.
Tried a new gauge ,job done ,handles like normal.
What is it they say, a good worker never blames his tools - well I did then , !
