Good morning everyone

The French roast is ready for you; help yourselves when you're ready.

It's 46°F in Rockville- definitely cool for the time of year- and feels like 38 according to the Windows weather app. I've reverted to wearing a sweater until the furnace comes on (reminding me that I need to check whether it's currently set to heat or a/c). Sunny skies and a high of 72 are expected later on.

We'll take the neighbors out for dinner tonight, as a delayed birthday celebration (his birthday was last Monday). Other than that, I have nothing specific although there's still that writing project lurking in the background that needs to be tackled.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thx Keith!
A hearing furnace….hmmmm what’s next?

14˚c/57f, sunny, quite calm, nice!

I just put the summer tyres on the car.
Now to clean the winter tyres befor storing them.

Going for a ride in a bit.
Yesterdays first ride of the year was just fantastic!
Only one near miss.

@ST1100Y Watch out for wolves in those woods!

Have a good one!

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Keith.

It's raining and 48 in Loudoun this morning, going to 60.
The rain should end by mid-afternoon.

Yesterday's rain was one of the causes of the crashes, but most stayed on two wheels. I shared the turn with another corner Marshall, and he was able to flag while I retrieved the occasional downed bike.
My Frog Toggs worked pretty well, but my gloves were soaked. The waterproof boots weren't quite.

Today, we'll go out and do this for real, as racing begins.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Whoooo, it's an unusual 46F/8C here in SoMD. Up early to help get the wife out the door for another horse show. I'm taking advantage of this gorgeous weather to ride again to watch, then head to rehearsal. Get to try out my new Noru apparel. After that, I dunno.

Thanks for the coffee, Keith! Have a happy time. Gotta get a move on so take care y'all!

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Keith 70F on the dog walk with a all most full moon, just missing a small bit. it should be full tomorrow. not a cloud to be seen anywhere and a lot of stars to enjoy.
we have a trip to lens crafters to pick up the wife's new glasses and I'm sure there is lunch in there some where. with the high at 93F I'm sure we can find something to do inside today. enjoy the day

stay safe

G'morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Keith!

Cold 'n wet again here this morning, with temps about the same as in Maryland: 8°C/46°F with a feels-like of 5°C/41°F. Looks like it's still raining lightly, but that should change to just dreary cloud pretty soon and eventually start clearing until it's mainly sunny and 17°C/63°F by 5 p.m.

Gotta go do the bandage changing ritual, so everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Thanks for the FR Keith. Reminds me of Upt' North, and I hope he's well. I miss him.
Me, I'll just keep hanging around here like a bad habit, all the while drinking your coffee and mine too. Which reminds me, Black ⚫️ Rifle of the Beyond Black blend is here, and I can share.
But this is not the place to be today, for warm and sunny riding. Rain all day, most of tomorrow, and it's cool and damp, only reaching the mid 60s. I've already progressed to the late 60s, but nothing much I can do about it. Birthdays just keep coming back around, y'know... like a bad habit.
I was lied to. Again.
The last 2 days were to have been rain and storms, but they were just wild assumptions, and i lost 2 decent commuting days.
Too wet to plow, and too wet to chainsaw. Otherwise I could probably do the latter, and reduce the deadwood lying in piles out back.
I got my drone controller back from DJI this week, had to send it in for a bad battery. It's an internal power device, so I couldn't just put a new battery in it.
Then of course a controller firmware update, bind it to the aircraft and connect it again, then compass calibration.
Much like our SMCs, this controller can't be left to sit for weeks at a time without exercise. But apparently it has a shorter shelf life at idle than the ST.
The good news is, I can now apply for a waiver online, in order to fly at my house. We're 6 miles from a small airport, so the DJI controller recognizes it's in restricted airspace when it finds the satellites .
But it's not smart to fly in the rain, so I'm grounded again.
What a world we live in, huh?
As it's Saturday, I don't think I'll go to the office today.
Toodles, y'all. Stay dry, and don't forget your key if you leave the house.

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start Keith!

Very sunny this morning, we had some rain overnight, currently 50F with 60 as our guessed high, a NNW breeze will keep the perspiration to a minimum!

@Peppermint
How well is your burned foot doing? Hopefully the pain level has decreased considerably!

I may get the F3 Spyder out next week for a short ride about the peninsula!
Miss Judy has expressed a desire to get a ride in, but we need an increase in our temperature for this ole carcass!
Enjoy your weekend!

Good Morning, thanks Keith for coffee, and Dave for the comic . Cloudy this morning 10% chance of wet stuff at 1 pm 51 F high of 60 F by 3 pm wind from SSW at 5 mph. Napping and housework is on today's agenda, maybe a ride sometime today. Yesterday took the cage to the Honda dealer to get my Side cover screws now just need the same Allen key to take covers off and put on. Y'all have a good day,G

Morning Keith & All from a sunny Southern Utah!

Currently it's 77F, up from 48F and heading for 82F! Already a breeze blowing from the SSW @ 7 to 10mph. Later the winds will pick up from the SW @ 15 to 22mph. The Weather Guessers are saying, it's going to be windy for the next three days.

We had an early morning Baptism of some friends daughter, Just got back and now I can plan my day, except, it's Chris's Birthday. And I expect, she'll be in her sewing room working on another quilt, and due to it being Mother's Day Weekend, she doesn't like going out anyway. So, here we sit! :rolleyes-2x:

I'll probably test the waters, before I go out to the garage and work on the AZ05 project.

Lazyman's breakfast, since Chris hasn't made her sourdough bread yet. She has some getting ready to put into the oven.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

@ST1100Y Watch out for wolves in those woods!
Unfortunately non here...
First they demand protection for endangered species, but when finally a few wander in, everyone is in panic and feels threatened by them...

G'Day...
-2°/6°C today, blue skies, glaring sun...
Consumed our hot Nescafé in the cabin, interesting how little you actually need and be happy...
Had a brilliant 300km ride today, really enjoyed it...
Due clear skies and distance to any settlements, we intend some stargazing tonight

Hope you had a great day!
